Biography

A respite from the ordinary, Little Ida promises unique finds for children and the young at heart. Handmade toys and other goods are profiled alongside crafty projects, reviews, and thoughts on creative parenting and childhood.

Little Ida offers a hotbed of creativity amongst the humdrum. If she were a person, she'd be the lone lily in a patch of roses; quirky, adventurous, & sassy.

Why Little Ida?
People are asking, "Why the name Little Ida?".
Here's my answer:

-My mom had a good friend named Ida when I was a kid. She was in her 80s and incredibly creative and inspirational. She made jewelry, cards, dolls, and all kinds of things using materials ranging from vintage lace to cherry pits! It's nice that I still have some of her creations made so long ago, and that her name can live on through littleida.com!
