Crocheted Baby Blanket

Here is a sneak peek at the first of a collection of hand crocheted baby blankets to be offered in the shop. The blanket is hand-crocheted by Mira Lazarovitz. I love her eye for color, and the way she's combined the greens and other earthy tones. I'll post a link as soon as it's up.

Here's Jasper at eight weeks. He's cute and cuddly, sleeping well, and so much fun to have around.

Pinwheel Baby Blanket

This morning I happened upon this round baby blanket over at the little hedgehog. I love the unique design and the fact that it's knitted with 'color grown' organic cotton. This kind of cotton is completely undyed and actually grown in the color that you see; It comes in many shades and is just beautiful. Since it contains neither dyes nor chemicals, it's one of the purest and safest fibers for babies.
